Shuttle Opportunity Opens

The next chapter of uplift at Finch Hatton MTB is about to begin.

Mackay Regional Council has opened an Expression of Interest for a new commercial shuttle operator to service the Finch Hatton trail network. The successful operator will receive exclusive permitted access to the gated Stage 1 Shuttle Access Road (SAR1), providing uplift services to riders at the designated drop-off point above the trail network.

The initial approval is expected to run for 12 months, with the potential for longer terms depending on the operator and the quality of service delivered.

Council is looking for an operator who understands mountain biking, values rider experience, and can provide a safe, reliable shuttle service for the growing Finch Hatton community.

If you run a shuttle business, transport service, tourism operation, or know someone keen to be part of the Finch Hatton story, this is a great opportunity to get involved. Expressions of Interest close on 18 March. For more information, visit VendorPanel and search for Mackay Regional Council.

Mackay Regional Council acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the Mackay Region the Yuwi, Widi, Barada Barna and Birriah peoples, and the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and their custodianship and connection with land, waters, and communities.

We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders past and present.
