Gravity Flow Enduro returns to Finch Hatton MTB
Finch Hatton MTB is gearing up to welcome the Mackay and District Mountain Bike Club (MAD MTBC) back to the trails for another big weekend of Gravity Flow Enduro racing.
The action begins with the Corry Cycles Interschool Gravity Flow Enduro 2026 on Friday 31 July, giving students from Grades 5 to 12, along with their teachers, the chance to represent their schools on the trails. The racing continues on Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August, with junior and senior riders taking on the Gravity Flow Enduro course.
Hosted by MAD MTBC, the event delivers a fun and social style of racing where riders can complete up to five runs across three timed stages. Their best time from each stage will count towards their final result. The climbs between stages are untimed, but riders will need to earn their turns, with no shuttles permitted.
The courses will feature a mix of Finch Hatton favourites, including Green Whistle, Tasty Fig, Tinny, No Drama Cane Farmer and Bung Eye. With categories for a wide range of ages and abilities, the event is also a great opportunity for newer riders to experience racing in a welcoming and supportive environment.
Racing runs from 9am to 3pm, with presentations following the final stages.
