After a solid week of work by FHMTB Trails Maintenance Crew, the trails are open and ready to ride!

This has been a huge effort from Jobe, Mark and the crew to get things back into shape. Huge thanks to these legends pictured.

Open Trails as at Monday 19 January include:

Canefields Jump Park is still too wet to ride.

The following will remain closed for for the time being:

Trail and weather conditions are still variable. Expect ruts, sticks, and some debris in places, and please ride to conditions. All trails have been re-inspected today and we’re happy with how the network is holding up overall.

All closures and areas of concern are clearly signed and/or coned. Trailforks and the onsite noticeboard will be updated to reflect the current status.

A huge thanks to everyone for their patience over the past week. Enjoy riding out there. Ride smart and respect the closures so we can keep reopening more trails as conditions improve.

Mackay Regional Council acknowledges the Traditional Owners of the Mackay Region the Yuwi, Widi, Barada Barna and Birriah peoples, and the Traditional Owners of Country throughout Australia and their custodianship and connection with land, waters, and communities.

We pay our respects to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and to Elders past and present.
