Ready to maximise your time on the trails? The Finch Hatton Mountain Bike Shuttle Service is here to get you to the top faster so you can focus on what really matters: the ride down.

Whether you’re a first-timer finding your flow, a weekend warrior chasing laps, or a seasoned shredder, this service makes it easy to spend less time climbing and more time riding. With regular, hassle-free departures, you’ll have more energy (and time) to enjoy everything that Finch Hatton MTB has to offer.

Shuttle Service Info

  • Departures: Regularly from the Admin Building
  • Operating Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm
  • Valid Ticket Period: 25 September – 5 October 2026
  • Operating Days: Friday to Monday

Your ticket gives you the flexibility to ride on any operating day within the valid period—perfect whether you’re visiting Finch Hatton for the first time, coming back for more laps, or exploring the wider Mackay region.

Passes can be purchased and collected from Corry Cycles Finch Hatton, located across the road from Finch Hatton MTB Trailhead. Passes can be collected from 7:30am on shuttle operating days for your convenience.

Have unused laps left on a pass from the June/July school holidays? Great news – your pass is still valid and can be used during the September/October operating period.

Corry Cycles Finch Hatton will also be offering a Shuttle Package for anyone who hires a bike through their store during operating times which includes a full-face helmet, bike insurance and a shuttle pass.

How It Works

Getting started is easy.

  1. Book your shuttle pass online.
Shuttle Passes available in single, 5x and 10x shuttle passes.
  2. Collect your punch card from Corry Cycles Finch Hatton
  3. Arrive at the Finch Hatton MTB Admin Building.
  4. Check in with the shuttle driver.
  5. Ride, reload and repeat.

Your punch card is your ticket- treat it like cash. Lost or damaged cards cannot be replaced.

Please note, there will be two shuttle vehicles operating with a capacity of four passengers and four bikes per vehicle, which means wait times can be expected during peak times. Please be patient and remain respectful of other riders and drivers during busy periods.
This shuttle service is currently being operated by Mackay Regional Council while a permanent shuttle solution for Finch Hatton MTB continues to be developed. We’ll share further updates as they become available.
